EESI Video Conference Facility
EESI has installed
a new high-definition Polycom video conference system in the large EESI
conference room (217B EES Bldg). We hope this new system will foster
stronger collaboration with researchers at other institutions without
the extra time and expense of traveling to remote sites. The room supports
a full range of video conferencing including traditional video conferences,
web conferences using Adobe Connect (Breeze) or other web-based systems
(Skype, iChat, etc.) and integration of traditional video conferencing
and web conferencing. In addition to video conferencing,
the room's two 47 LCD monitors (actually HD TVs) can display a variety
of other content including laptop screens, DVD/VHS and TV.
Contact Debbie Lambert (lambert@eesi.psu.edu - 863-7091) to schedule
use of the large conference room and let her know if you plan on using any of
the room's video conference capabilities. Contact Chuck Anderson (cda10@psu.edu -
863-2049) with technical questions about the room's capabilities.
