Center for Environmental Chemistry and Geochemistry

The Center for Environmental Chemistry and Geochemistry, which is sponsored by the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences and the Eberly College of Science, has a fivefold mission:
- To promote research and teaching in environmental chemistry and geochemistry;
- To promote the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas among chemistry, geochemistry, hydrology, meteorology, biology, agronomy, environmental engineering, and geology;
- To provide funding for interdisciplinary research in environmental chemistry and geochemistry;
- To promote interaction among faculty, staff, and students; and
- To provide support for environmental speakers and sabbatical visitors.
