The National Institute for Climatic Change Research (NICCR) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) Office of Biological and Environmental Research (BER). - Center for Public Policy Research in Environment Energy, and Community Well-Being
The Center for Public Policy Research in Environment Energy, and Community Well-Being is an initiative of the Penn State Institutes of Energy and the Environment, Rock Ethics Institute, Social Science Research Institute, Children, Youth, and Families Consortium, and College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. The goal is to further current policy activities in the social sciences and to develop activities that encourage collaboration, facilitate research, and to inform public policy realms.
