Funds Available to Support Faculty Travel

Faculty members whose research involves travel can apply for Wilson Travel Funds to help offset those costs.

Proposals may be submitted any time and will be reviewed monthly. Award recipients can receive up to $5,000.

The Matthew J. Wilson, Jr., Trust Fund for Faculty Enrichment is intended to facilitate faculty travel associated with enhancing research and scholarly activities. These would include trips involving the development of new research initiatives and the dissemination of research in key venues. Faculty members representing their department, the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences and Penn State at professional organizations also are encouraged to apply.

The fund is administered through the Office of the Associate Dean for Graduate Education & Research, 248 Deike Building.
