Frontiers in Earth Systems Ecology Inaugural Seminar

As part of its commitment to interdisciplinary research and scholarship, EESI has established a new annual seminar, “Frontiers in Earth Systems Ecology.”

The seminar brings to Penn State a respected scientist who has made a significant contribution to the field of Earth Systems Ecology. The speaker is nominated by a committee of EESI associates and affiliates representing the departments of Energy and Mineral Engineering, Geography, Geosciences and Meteorology.

In addition to the seminar, the speaker is available to meet with individual faculty, graduate students and undergraduate students and to participate in classes.
